Free car parking at Tesco for visitors and patrons. The Tesco car park is located behind the Mitchell Arts Centre building. If you are parking for longer than three hours then please remember your vehicle registration details, as you will be required to enter these in to the Tesco car parking system in Mitchell Arts Centre’s foyer to obtain free parking for the day. Failure to do so will result in a parking ticket. Mitchell Arts Centre takes no responsibility for Tesco’s car parking terms and conditions. Disabled parking is available on Broad Street.

The Museum has no on-site parking. However, there are many car parks within a short walking distance of the museum, as well as parking meters on Bethesda Street and Warner Street.
Getting to Stoke-on-Trent City Centre
- By road
From M6 exit 15 or 16 take A500 to Stoke-on-Trent. Follow signs for City Centre (Hanley), Cultural Quarter. For Stoke Film Theatre follow signs for Staffordshire University. - By rail
Stoke-on-Trent station is 20 minutes walk from the Mitchell Arts Centre and five minutes walk from Stoke Film Theatre. Taxis and buses are also available from the station. Stoke-on-Trent is a major intercity rail route, directly linked to Manchester (35 minutes), Birmingham (45 minutes) and London (90 minutes). Virgin Trains and Cross Country operate high-speed trains.
